The new National Children’s Science Centre will be situated at the North Wing of the National Concert Hall at Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin. The site will comprise the renovated Wing with a new extension built to the back incorporating a state-of-the-art Planetarium. In addition, a tunnel will link this main building with the old UCD Engineering Lab which will also be fully renovated. The overall footprint of the Science Centre will be ca. 9,500 square metres.
